REPORT OF STROLL ON FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER 2019

It was a wet and windy day and as a consequence we had apologies from strollers who preferred to stay in bed. Nevertheless two hardy individuals decided to walk along the 'White River' to Pentewan.

The remainder struggled with the card payment machine before going to the Piskey Cove cafe to warm up, chat and eat.

Update 28th September  2019

REPORT OF STROLL ON FRIDAY 27th SEPTEMBER 2019

A hardy band of intrepid strollers braved the inclement weather for a stroll around Cardinham Woods.

The drizzle was more than compensated for by the lively social occasion and the lovely food in the warm but rather noisy cafe afterwards.

The next stroll is on Friday 25th October. Meet outside Lostwithiel Community Centre at 10:00am.

Update 6th July 2019

It was a glorious day for our June stroll. We stopped at the hillside cafe for toasted tea cakes and ice cold ginger beer, which really quenched our thirst.

The next stroll is  on
Friday 26th July  to the Wadebridge riverside park.  John Wood has organised this walk, which takes us over the bridge from the 'Challenge Annika' TV show.  Unfortunately I am unable to attend so please address any queries to John on 01208 831657.

Those who live in the Bodmin area go straight to the Borough Arms car park, in Dunmere, where John will be waiting for you.

The Lostwithiel contingent meet outside the Community Centre for travel/transport to meet up with John. Start time is 10am.

We had some interesting chats catching up on all the news.  The next stroll is on the 31st May to Beacon Park.

The next stroll is on the 29th March from Respryn to the station.
